CM Punkab Shahbaz Sharif

Dear Khadim-e-A’la Punjab,

Hope you are enjoying the best of your health. I assume so as, god forbid, whenever you are suffering from poor health symptoms, unlike poor Pakis, you have the best available option to get yourself recuperated from the well-equipped hospitals of goras in foreign countries. I believe you follow this practice as being the manager of the entire province you actually know that the “excellent” quality of health services being delivered in your beloved province. You know doctors and hospitals here in your country are not equipped with the state of art technological devices that might recuperate well-off of this society but poor only. With due respect, I feel you have firm belief that the public hospitals you administer surely lack these equipment and private hospitals are few and out of these few, only some have modern equipment that is also not an example of the state of art, perhaps.

Besides modern equipment, you may also have issue with the not-so-pure-medicines being sold in the land of pure as you may be well aware of the fact that used injections and other waste is not being wasted or destroyed as per established guidelines however they are recycled or, may be, they are merely washed in lukewarm water and then reused again. So being a well aware person, you find it better going abroad to get yourself treated. After all, you are Khadim-e-Ala, the chief servant, and the chief should be treated like Chiefs, you know.

I do not want to take much of your precious time so this single example (that can be followed a long list as well), I feel, would be enough to serve the purpose my letter. People who are designated at key positions like of yours should aim to change for betterment and set examples for their followers. I don’t argue against or condemn your treatment abroad but at least I wish that you actually bring the change to make a “Roshan Pakistan”, you have promised for. After all you have got a 4th chance, we actually expect a change from you. Not promises only this time. Please!

I could have come up with lavish facts and figures to support my viewpoint and also highlight many other issues nevertheless I just wanted to convey a message of a common man briefly.

Once your supporter, now a hater of democracy and a pushed-supporter of anarchy – as all you want in this country right now can only be snatched and not earned by a mango man.

    well said iqbal.
I do hope you may get some sort of reply on this. However, bear in mind we as pakistanis need to change ourselves first before we comment on our leaders. 90%of the people in pakistan may like to go abroad for better opportunity . however, once they go abroad they work much harder and honestly as compared to while they were in pakistan. we have a problem within ourselves and if i will not improve myself i dont have any right to ask any one to improve. charity begins at home. i wish you best of luck and I sincerely hope a change is brought. by us first.

i second you Umair. but, see, leaders are like role models as well. they play a key role in nourishing the “mind set” of a being, specially youngsters, developing a sense of honesty, devotion, patriotism and dedication towards the homeland.

U r right I totally agree with U however my purpose of writing this letter is well explained by FD too. I believe in top to bottom concept. as in a company top management sets the tone of the organisation so in the case of a country top management i.e. Govt will set tone which people will follow them.

Keeping in view, the example u put, I want to clarify to u that today we go abroad to make career and earn well just because of the reason that we are not paid well here in our own country. I have not seen a single professional who is earning well here goes abroad to settle there. So money is a huge factor. Also if people go abroad their families reside here and they send remittances which benefits our economy and they had each and everything back here in Pak their properties and families. Whereas case of our politicians is totally opposite. They came to Pakistan to earn and have everything abroad. Zardari and family, Shokat Aziz and many other examples are in front of U.
Hope I satisfied ur concern :)
